Project Update - Rivington Chase

Our enabling works are progressing well on the former Horwich Locomotive Works site, where we are the Principal Contractor appointed to construct 1km of new road infrastructure. This new spine road will link Horwich with Middlebrook for the developing area of new housing and commercial property. There will be over 4 hectares of employment land in the south east corner of Rivington Chase to create new job opportunities.

Current works ongoing - earthworks, capping placement, service diversions, dynamic replacement and prefabricated vertical drains (PVD’s).
