Bulk Earthworks and placement of Type1 Subbase for the new 5.5km Congleton Link Road.
We have successfully delivered the Bulk Earthworks and placement of Type1 Subbase for the new 5.5km Congleton Link Road.
The new road will relieve the Cheshire East town of some of its historical traffic problems, create road space for cyclists and pedestrians and improve air quality for residents, while opening up new development opportunities for employment and housing.
Cheshire East Councils largest infrastructure project to date has been named Wolstenholme Elmy Way – after Congleton’s famous pioneering educationalist and campaigner for votes for women, Elizabeth Clarke Wolstenholme Elmy.
The 5.5km link road was officially opened to the public earlier this week.
A great achievement and a massive well done to our Site Team and everyone else involved for their efforts!
