Simulator for training and familiarisation programmes
We regularly use the Tenstar Simulation AB
Simulator for training and familiarisation programmes within our business. This has included personnel from Head Office Departments and Senior Management across all disciplines to give everyone a feel for what it is like to be a Plant Operator.
We combine simulator and field training as an integral part of our Plant Operator Training Programme both for new recruits and for existing operators progressing to using Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon Machine Control. The design model from the simulator is replicated in the field training area to give real world experience of what has been learnt in virtual reality.
We are finding the use of this technology extremely beneficial. Thank you Simon Hogg of Tenstar for the continued support and for getting this up and running the D Morgan Way.
